Ethics
People
One of the fundamental aims of Binamic was to make it a good place to work. Our policy has always to employ locally and take more heed of an applicant’s attitude and potential than qualifications, creating opportunities for a wider range of candidates.
We aim to nurture talent and create an atmosphere akin to a guild of craftsmen who take massive pride in their work.
As a collective, nothing makes us happier than creating brilliant work, and there is nothing better than knowing you’ve done good work for job satisfaction.
Environment
We take our environment very seriously, and act, wherever possible to reduce our impact on it.
(Martin’s fault; he’s a closet eco-warrior…)
Our local recruitment policy means our staff don’t have to commute far – the majority of our staff walk or get the bus to work
Being a digital company, we use minimal amounts of paper, only printing when it is absolutely necessary. After 7 years, we are only on our second laser printer toner cartridge!
We try to keep landfill rubbish to minimum, recycling as much as possible. In fact, our rubbish output is so small, we struggled to find a contractor willing to take us on and issue our certificate!
The downside to being a digital company is obviously the electricity we consume. However , we keep our CO2 footprint small – we use Ecotricity as our supplier (100% investment in green electricity), and switch off all un-necessary equipment out of office hours.
Client Quotes
I’m a perfectionist in my work and I needed a web design company to match – Binamic came highly recommended! The site has been going now for over 3 years and I still get loads of positive comments.
