Fotec, a highly regarded IT Support Company in Hemel Hempstead asked us to look at their current site, which, although professional looking, wasn’t delivering any benefit to the company.

It wasn’t generating leads, wasn’t adding value to either Fotec, or , more importantly their customers, and was getting barely any Search Engine Traffic.

Binamic proposed a fairly radical short term approach of totally replacing the site with a Blog based site, and loading the site with no nonsense genuinely useful content. There was also agreement between Fotec and Binamic that the new site shouldn’t look like any old generic IT company site. (You know the thing – lots of stock images of faux friendly/helpful people on phones, and meaningless bland text)

The idea was that this was the quickest way to drive organic search engine traffic to the site and start building a community.

Fotec rose to the challenge and have produced constant high quality posts – essential for this approach, and although the site has only just launched, initial reaction is… well… opinionated! Just what we wanted though, as everyone is talking about it. We’ll keep you up to date!
