Although we were involved in the first Xtremewheels show website in 2003/4, it was only in a programming role, so we were delighted to be asked to get totally involved in the 2005 show site in a strategy, design and development role.
The site design reflected the full-on attitude of custom cars, but was backed up by a neat content management and community building features.
The site contributed to a huge increase in visitors to the show over the previous year, and was receiving nearly 2000 site visits a day in the week running up to the show.
The site uses PHP, a MySQL database
